Waking Windows is a 3-day music, art, comedy, food and drink festival located just outside Burlington, VT in downtown Winooski.
The Waking Windows team told our design team at Fuse that they were looking for a concept that would represent spring starting off with a bang, like throwing-the-windows-open-and-feeling-the-sunshine-on-your-face-after-a-Vermont-winter type of thing. Not in those exact words but you get the idea. Our design team submitted several concepts and the client selected this direction below.
The epicenter of downtown Winooski is the town rotary, and for this event it’s where the headliners perform and people come together, all roughly represented by the playful, jumbo screenprinted circles. Along the perimeter of the rotary, local bars, cafés, and other businesses open their doors to the annual event and host comedians, DJs, and other special events.
